Damien Mantach was the State Director of the Tasmanian Division of the Liberal Party of Australia. Damien Mantach commenced in the position on October 2005 and worked into the position until March 2008 when he resigned and returned to Melbourne to take up a position as the Deputy Campaign Director at the Victorian Division of the Liberal Party.
In March 2011 he was appointed as a State Director of the Victorian Liberal Party.

Kemp out, Mantach director and big fight looms for Presidency
Damien Mantach was the State Director of the Tasmanian Division of the Liberal Party of Australia. Damien Mantach commenced in the position on October 2005 and worked into the position until March 2008 when he resigned and returned to Melbourne to take up a position as the Deputy Campaign Director at the Victorian Division of the Liberal Party.
In March 2011 he was appointed as a State Director of the Victorian Liberal Party.
The Vic Libs are set to have big fight about for the Presidency after the announcement that David Kemp would not be re-contesting. Damien Mantach managed to see off maneuvres to appoint Simon Troeth to the party director’s post.
Early stage Presidential candidates include Chris Pearce who has been sashaying around 104 recently. Other contenders include Peter Reith, Sandra Mercer Moore and Tony Snell.
